June 26 - Welcome to Italy / Chianti Spin / Welcome Dinner
We will meet you at 12 noon at the Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport and transfer you into the Chianti countryside. Following our arrival at our five-star castle hotel near Gaiole-en-Chianti, check-in for the next two nights before assembling your bike or adjusting your rental bike with the assistance of our professional bike mechanics. This afternoon, go for a short spin in the nearby Chianti countryside before enjoying our “Welcome Meeting and Dinner” at the castle.

June 27 - Chianti Tour / Siena Visit
Begin your day with a full breakfast before embarking on a beautiful tour of the Chianti countryside that inspired the famed “L’Eroica” gran fondo! Along the way, we’ll enjoy a cappuccino in the town square of charming Castelnuovo Berardenga before arriving into Siena for lunch. After exploring the Piazza del Campo and shops of Siena, chose to ride back to our castle hotel through the Chianti vineyards or opt for a seat in the sag van. This afternoon, relax in the hotel pool or spa before exploring the local “trattorias” in the nearby village of Gaiole-en-Chianti for dinner this evening.

June 28: Gaiole-en-Chianti to Florence / Chianti Classico Wine Road Tour
Today’s ride is a magical route through the heart of the Chianti Classico wine region! Along the way, you’ll discover such picturesque villages as Radda-in-Chianti, Castellina-in-Chianti, Greve-in-Chianti, and others as we ride from one award-winning vineyard to the next. Our final destination today is our four-star luxury villa that boasts one of the most unbelievable views of Florence in the world! After checking-in for two nights, relax in the pool or explore the breathtaking grounds before enjoying dinner this evening with some of the local vintages. Perfecto!

June 29: Tour de France Grand Depart in Florence with VIP Status / Bartoli Museum / Farewell Dinner
Enjoy breakfast overlooking the Italian countryside before transferring into Florence where we will enjoy watching the pros sign-in for this historical stage in the city center. Following the “Grand Depart” of the Tour, enjoy lunch on your own before visiting the Gino Bartoli Museum. Later this afternoon, we’ll return to our luxury villa hotel where we’ll watch the live finish of Stage 1 on TV. Following a busy day, we’ll celebrate the Tour de France this evening with a festive “Farewell Dinner!”

June 30 - Optional Morning Spin / Transfer Day
Savor your final breakfast in our luxury villa overlooking Florence before enjoying an optional coffee ride in the nearby countryside to conclude your Tuscany vacation. We will checkout at 12 noon and transfer you to either the Florence Train Station or the Amerigo Vespucci Airport where you can extend your trip in Italy or head home with memories of an unforgettable week in Toscana with the Tour de France!
