PARIS-NICE CYCLING VACATION

Itinerary:

March 8: Welcome to Nice and the French Riviera!
Following our meeting at the Brussels International Airport hotel at 1 pm, we'll transfer you to the village of Oudenaarde, Belgium, and the four-star Hotel Leopold! Following check-in for the next five nights, assemble your bike with the assistance of our professional mechanics before enjoying an easy ride through Flanders to loosen up. This evening, we'll enjoy a festive "Welcome Meeting and Dinner” at our hotel.

April 6: “Best of the Tour of Flanders” Cycling / Koers Cycling Museum Visit.
Enjoy a full Flandrian breakfast and coffee before heading out into the countryside of Flanders where you’ll feel the presence of past champions as you ride such mythical climbs as the Oude Kwaremont, Paterberg, and the Koppenberg! Following lunch in town, we’ll depart to the village of Roselare to visit the shrine to cycling in Belgium, the Koers Cycling Museum. This is an amazing walk through the history of cycling including the Classics and the Grand Tours! Upon our return to Oudenaarde, enjoy exploring the local brasseries for dinner on your own!

April 7: Tour of Flanders Museum Visit / Flanders Ride / Paris-Roubaix Challenge Registration.
This morning following breakfast, we’ll visit the Tour of Flanders Museum! After our visit, we’ll enjoy an easy spin on flatter roads on one of the pro’s favorite loops before returning to our hotel. After lunch in town, we’ll transfer into France where we’ll register at the Roubaix Velodrome for tomorrow’s epic ride, the Paris-Roubaix Challenge! Following our return to Oudenaarde, we’ll enjoy a group dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant in town.

April 8: 2023 Paris-Roubaix Challenge!
Today is your opportunity to be a part of history as you ride the famed cobbles of the “Hell of the North” at the Paris-Roubaix Challenge! Following an early breakfast, we’ll transfer to Roubaix where you can choose to ride either the 72 km (43.2 miles) or 145 km (87 miles) course. You can look forward to riding such famed stretches of cobbles as the Wallers-Arenberg Forest and Carrefour de l’Arbre before crossing the finish line in the Roubaix Velodrome! Afterwards, celebrate your accomplishment with your fellow riders before returning to Oudenaarde for dinner. (Note: The food and beers at the finish in 2019 were amazing!)

April 9: 2023 Paris-Roubaix!
Welcome to the “Hell of the North!” Today you will get to witness the “Queen of the Classics” up-close as we experience the race live in the Wallers-Arenberg Forest before proceeding to the Roubaix Velodrome for the live finish! This evening, we’ll celebrate the day’s winner and your adventure at Paris-Roubaix with our “Farewell Dinner.”

April 10: Transfer Day.
After breakfast, we’ll organize transfers to the Brussels International Airport. Estimated time of arrival into the Brussels Airport is 12 noon. If you drove your car to the hotel, your trip will conclude with check-out at 12 noon.
