Itinerary:

Day One: Welcome to the Dordogne / Transfer and Welcome Dinner.
Welcome to the French Dordogne! We will meet you at the Brive-la-Gaillarde Train Station between 12 noon - 2 pm and transfer you to the charming village of St. Cyprien (1:15 transfer time)and our private five-star luxury chateau. Following check-in, build up your bike with the assistance of our professional mechanics before relaxing with a short warm-up spin through the nearby vineyards . This evening, we’ll relax and enjoy a chef-prepared dinner at our chateau!

Day Two: Discover the “Most Beautiful Villages in France!”
Enjoy breakfast at the chateau with its resplendent views before savoring a coffee in the village on “Market Day.” Afterwards, we’ll embark on a fun ride through the postcard villages of Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme, and La Sarlat-le-Caneda, where we’ll stop for lunch. Today will be an amazing opportunity to explore and photograph these villages and their historical castles as some of them are classified as the “Most Beautiful in France!” Afterwards, we’ll cycle back to the chateau where you can enjoy a post-ride massage (at your own expense). This evening, explore the local restaurants, or “brasseries,” in St. Cyprien for dinner on your own.

Day Three: The Dordogne River Valley, Private Gardens, and Castles.
Following breakfast, our route will take us north of the Dordogne River Valley on quiet backroads that wind through the postcard villages before descending into the Dordogne River Valley with it’s enchanting views and historical castles. Along the way, we’ll cycle to the imposing Chateau de Castelnaud and the Chateau de Milandes, the former residence of American Josephine Baker. Following the conclusion of our ride, we’ll enjoy a private wine tasting at our chateau before relaxing with a chef-prepared dinner this evening.

Day Four: Rocamadour Loop.
Get ready for one of the most beautiful rides of your life as we navigate the tiny backroads of the Dordogne and the Lot regions on our way to one of France’s most famous and photographed villages, Rocamadour! Reward yourself with lunch in town before choosing to ride back to our chateau or opt for the shuttle. This evening, we’ll celebrate our adventure on the road with dinner at the chateau and some wines from the neighboring vineyard, the Domaine de la Voie Blanche.

Day Five: The Caves of Lascaux and the Vezere River Valley.
Today’s route will take us into the Vezere River Valley, home to some of the most famous prehistoric caves in the world! Highlights include riding to and discovering the Chateau de Commarque, the Losse Castle and Gardens, and the caves of Lascaux in the village of Montignac. This evening, we’ll celebrate your time in the Dordogne with our “Farewell Dinner” at the chateau!

Day Six: Morning Spin / Afternoon Transfers.
Savor your final breakfast at our chateau before a final spin through the Dordogne as we visit the villages of Les Eyzies, Le Bugue, and the Chateau of Campagne. Following our return, enjoy lunch and pack your bike before afternoon transfers to the TGV Train Station at La Brive-la-Gaillarde. From here, you can take the train back to Paris and the Gare d’Austerlitz.
