Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Sicily and Trapani / Welcome Dinner
Following our meeting at Palermo airport, we will transfer you to Trapani where you’ll check in for two nights at our four-star hotel, a former palace for Sicilian nobility. Nestled on the very west side of Sicily, Trapani has a strong connection with the sea and often hosts the International Sailing Match Cup. Following the build-up of your bike with the assistance of our guide, go for a short spin along the coast before our “Welcome Dinner” tonight.

Day 2 - Erice Loop Ride
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and a frothy cappuccino before getting ready for your first ride in Sicily. Our route for today is centered around the medieval village of Erice, located on the summit of San Giuliano which overlooks Trapani below. Erice was an important religious center for the Elymians, a population that lived in western Sicily before the Greek colonization more than 4,000 years ago. This evening, explore the local trattorias of Trapani for dinner on your own.

Day 3 -Trapani to Sciacca
Following breakfast, enjoy a beautiful ride towards the south of Sicily that features miles of its spectacular coastline! Along the way, you’ll see the salt marshes and windmills where salt has been cultivated for centuries with ancient methods. After lunch in Marsala, you’ll continue cycling to Mazara del Vallo, a charming town with a medieval center that shows an Arab influence. Upon the conclusion of your ride, we’ll transfer you to the spectacular five-star Adler Sicily Spa Resort, near Sciacca, which overlooks the coast! Following check-in for the next two nights, enjoy a delicious dinner at the resort to celebrate your memorable day in the saddle!

Day 4 - Caltabellotta Loop
Enjoy breakfast overlooking the coast before getting ready for a great ride, the longest of the trip, to the ancient village of Caltabellotta. This charming town is situated on a hilltop with an elevation of about 950 meters and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the Mediterranean Sea, and the distant mountains. This strategic location has made Caltabellotta an important site throughout history, dating back to ancient times. Following your return to the resort, enjoy a dip in the infinity pool or get a massage before dinner at the resort.

Day 5 - Sciacca to Castellammare
We’ve saved the best for last! Begin your day with breakfast at the resort before setting off on a route that will take you through the heart of Sicily as you ride from the southern coast to the northern coast over undulating terrain. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the views of Sicily’s charming villages, fields, coastline and a visit to the ancient ruins at Segesta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following your arrival into Castellammare, enjoy your “Farewell Dinner” while celebrating your week in Sicily.

Day 6 - Transfer Day
Enjoy your final morning exploring the village of Castellammare before transferring to the Palermo Airport for your return flight home.
