Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Austin and the Texas Hill Country! / Austin Spin and Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Austin and the Texas Hill Country! Following your arrival at the luxury Proper Hotel at 1 pm, check-in and get settled before building up your bike or getting your rental bike adjusted with the assistance of our professional mechanics. Afterwards, enjoy a short spin along the shores of Town Lake with the option to climb Mount Bonnell or relax at the hotel’s pool, undoubtedly one of the coolest in Austin! This evening, enjoy our “Welcome Meeting and Dinner” at one of Austin’s hippest restaurants on the shores of Town Lake.

Day 2: Austin to Johnson City / Texas Hill Country Cycling and Walden Resort
Fuel up with the breakfast at the hotel before checking out and enjoying a short transfer out of Austin to where today’s ride through the Hill Country begins . Our route for today includes cycling through private ranchlands (with the famous longhorn cattle) and past vineyards as we make our way to Johnson City and the secluded Walden Retreats. Upon our arrival at Walden, check-in to your luxury tent for the next two nights and enjoy the views over the surrounding hills before dinner at a local winery.

Day 3: Willow City Loop and Fredericksburg
Enjoy breakfast overlooking the Pedernales River and the Hill Country before starting your ride of the famous Willow City Loop. This loop ride is one of our all-time favorites as it really showcases the Hill Country at it’s finest! Afterwards, we’ll continue to Fredericksburg where we’ll enjoy lunch while sampling some of the local beers that have a German heritage. Following lunch, continue riding back to Walden or choose a ride in our van. This evening, we’ll enjoy a festive dinner before kicking back at our private fire pits at the resort and enjoying the peaceful solitude of the Hill Country under the stars.

Day 4: Luckenbach Ride and Wine Tasting Lunch at William Chris Winery / Return to Austin
Savor your final breakfast on your private patio overlooking the Hill Country before enjoying your final ride of the trip to charming Luckenbach. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a “Farewell Lunch” at the beautiful William Chris Winery where you will be able to sample their award-winning wines. Following lunch, we’ll return to Austin and the Proper Hotel. From here, you can extend your vacation in Austin or transfer to the Austin-Bergstrom Airport for an evening flight home.
